First things first, what does it mean to elope?
Well if you look it up in the dictionary it basically means to run away and get married in secret. So dated. But elopements and the way people view them have come SOOOO far in the last 10 years. It no longer means shame and secrecy, it means you decided you didn’t want to follow the stereotypical norms and wanted to make intentionality a central part of your wedding day.
At the end of the day it’s you and your partner that are taking the leap into a lifetime of love and happiness together, don’t let anyone tell you that you have to do it a certain way.
If you want to do something that involves just the two of you in secret for a weekend, then you should do it. If you want to spend it with close friends and family deep in the woods, then you should do it. I’m here to be your elopement fairy godmother and help you realize that anything you want to do on your elopement day is possible with a little sprinkle of fairy dust (which is actually just confetti made out of dry leaves because we’re environmentally friendly here of course).
Why am I so passionate about elopements?
To be completely honest, I have years of experience shooting large traditional weddings, sometimes upwards of 200+ guests. And I saw how many people were just stressed out and not actually enjoying their wedding day because they thought they were doing what they were supposed to do when you get married. There was a lot of family drama, vendor snafus, and tears (not the happy kind). Now I’m also not here to trash big traditional weddings, I think they are great when they’re done right and for most people it truly is the happiest day of their life. And that’s not to say that eloping doesn’t come with it’s own set of stress. But I can tell you from personal experience that the couples that I’ve worked with who eloped really spent their day almost completely stress free and soaking in every moment with their partner and loved ones who they chose to invite.
Eloping can offer you a more quiet and intentional approach to your day so you can enjoy it stress free.
P.S. I don’t differentiate between an “elopement” and an “intimate wedding”. All my packages have a set limit of 30 guests, so whether you decide to do a hike and private ceremony with just the two of you or a backyard wedding with close friends and family it doesn’t affect the pricing in my packages. What are some things you can expect when working with me?
An elopement experience that is personalized uniquely to you and your partner.
Your elopement will without a doubt be one of a kind, no two are the same. I will be there every step of the way as a guide and friend to help you plan your wedding day around all the things you love to do and want to celebrate with your partner. I am a planner at heart so I can help as little or as much as you’d like with all aspects of planning your day.
I will be your ultimate hype woman.
I’m going to make sure you look great and feel great throughout the whole day and remind you probably 20 times how amazing you are for celebrating your day the way you want to. I’ll dance with you at the top of a long hike and make sure you’ve drank enough water and eaten enough food. I can’t help it, I’m the mom friend.
I’ll answer all your questions and provide you with plenty of resources.
Something else to know about me is that as passionate as I am about people eloping I am equally as passionate about the sustainability of our planet and our impact on the outdoors. When you book an elopement with me we will make sure to take all appropriate steps to lessen our impact on the beautiful Mother Earth. I will happy to answer all your questions big or small about that and anything else that comes along during the booking process as well as send you guides and resources to look over so we can make our time in the outdoors enjoyable and keep our spaces clean and usable for the next generation!
No additional travel fees
You read that right. All my elopement packages do not have added travel fees. I build each of my package options around location already so that travel is built into the package cost and not something else you have to worry about adding on top.
Okay so what are the steps for setting up the best elopement day ever?
Head over to my contact page and fill out the form I have laid out. It helps me get to know you better and start to envision your ideas!
We hop on a quick consultation phone call to talk more details and make sure we’d make a good fit to make your elopement day amazing.
After that I will send over a contract and a personalized invoice so you can pay your retainer and we can get your day secured on my calendar.
From there I will help with location planning, tips and tricks for eloping, permits, vendor recommendations, leave no trace, and figuring out a timeline so we can cover all the things you want to do on your day
Then we get to spend the best day ever together and make total magic! ✨
After your super fun elopement day I will deliver a sneak peek gallery within 24-48 hours so you can have some goodies to hold onto and share with friends and family until I’ve finished editing your entire gallery!

A one hour session for you and your boo!
Hike/drive time does not count against your shooting time, so we can hike to a beautiful location or drive somewhere epic and start our session then!
This includes travel within the state of Washington or Northern Idaho. Out of state travel can be calculated and added if you’d like me to meet you somewhere amazing!
